How it works

The discount calculator finds the final price after a discount and how much you save.

Final price = original × (1 − discount/100). The saving is the difference between the original and final price.

Example: an €80 item with 25% off costs €60 and saves you €20.

Frequently asked questions

How do I calculate the final price?

Multiply the original price by (1 − percent/100). E.g. €50 with 10% = 50 × 0.90 = €45.

How do two successive discounts combine?

They are not added; they apply one after the other. E.g. 20% then 10% equals a total of 28%, not 30%.

Does the price include tax?

The calculation works with whatever price you enter. If the original price includes tax, so will the final one.
